At the rally 2010-09-18 l’Association des familles Dostie inaugurated at the site of La Grosse Roche, a monument in memory of their ancestors Pierre Bellot said Dostie and his wives  Marie-Rose Ratté and Marie-Anne Pépin dit Lachance.

On this monument we can read a text, which will summarize our history:

Yesteryear’s and today’s Dostie’s,
From near and far
Have given themselves a mountain
To view the future as well as the past.
From faraway Monflanquin to Mount Dostie :
A sea to cross
Upriver or across the creek
Right back to the source
At the heart of Mount Dostie
There is always a port to step onto
And a home for our ashes.
